HOW TO MAKE A 3D CHRISTMAS TREE CARD
This Christmas tree card is simple for kids of all ages (with perhaps a little help from parents or teachers). It comes with a free printable template that you can download.
The greeting card is made by sticking a three-dimensional paper Christmas tree onto regular construction paper to make unique handmade Christmas cards.
ITEMS YOUR WILL NEED

- Free Printable template
- Christmas tree pattern
- card craft green card 11 ins x 7 ins (28 cm x 17.5 cm
- card craft for tree 12 ins sq (30 cm x 30cm)
- Glue stick, craft glue, pen or pencil, ruler, scissors
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHRISTMAS TREE CARD
Pre-Lit ‘Feel Real’ Artificial Christmas Tree
Instructions for making a 3D Christmas Tree Card
+ Download the free printable template pattern [see below]
+ Cut out the Christmas tree pattern and trace onto white firm card
+ Trace each tree onto the back of green card and cut out
You should have four green Christmas tree patterns
+ Fold blue card in half and position one green tree
+ Place first tree in position, mark position and don’t glue yet
+ Using ruler, fold tree in half and glue under right hand side only
+ Fold 2nd tree remaining in half using a ruler
+ Place 2nd tree and glue under left side only
+ Fold both trees back and repeat for 3rd and 4th trees
+ Glue the last two tree sections together, press firmly
+ Place 2 gold stars partly together and glue at top of tree
+ Glue the colored stars around the tree
+ Your paper Christmas tree is now looking very sparkly
+ Add your special Christmas Greetings inside your Christmas tree card
Your gorgeous 3D paper Christmas tree is ready to send to a friend, a teacher or perhaps to place in pride of place on the mantel piece.
