MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED :
White cardstock size – 11 3/4 x 8 1/4 ins for white hearts
Red cardstock size – 11 3/4 x 8 1/4 ins for 7 red hearts
Pink cardstock size – 11 3/4 ins x 8 1/4 ins for heart card
Scissors, pencil, glue, ruler,
INSTRUCTIONS :

1 After downloading your free printable template, cut out both heart template shapes and trace two large hearts onto white cardstock and cut out both.
2 Trace the smaller heart onto red cardstock paper, trace the red heart shaped card seven times and cut out all seven red hearts. 1 red heart for the front and 6 red hearts for the inside of the card

3 Cut pink cardstock to size and fold card exactly in half
4 Glue the large white heart onto the centre front

5 Glue the back of one red heart and place it exactly in the centre of the white heart leaving a white edge around the heart. (Now would be a good time to write a greeting to your loved one on the front of the card)
6 Allow the hearts card to dry.
7 Open the folded card to see the inside
8 Glue the remaining second white heart card shape exactly across the center fold

9 Fold all five remaining red hearts in half using a ruler


10 Place two folded red hearts to meet exactly in the centre of the white heart and glue the underneath. The vertical ends should stand up freely


11 Repeat by placing one folded red heart on the left to the glued heart on the right

12 Repeat, gluing half of each folded red card, one left, one right to the already glued hearts to meet in the centre

13 Draw and cut out 4 smaller red hearts from remaining red cardstock
14 Glue onto white cardstock and cut around each, leaving a white border around each
15 Glue these small hearts around the inside of the red pop up 3D hearts
You have now created your very own homemade pop up card to give your loved one.
